BEST PRACTICES & RECOMMENDATIONS
Your installer will set up the equipment with your facility information and program the defaults to get your equipment operational. We recommend customizing it beyond the defaults to give your members a truly unforgettable exercise experience. This includes:
Enhancing Member Workouts
- Turn workouts into engaging experiences that motivate and immerse your exercisers. Our guide to Engaging Exerciser Experiences covers practical tips to customize your console and helps you learn more about features and functions.
Custom Branding and Messaging
- Add custom screens, logos and messages through Asset Management. For instructions on this, visit our Instructions on How to Customize & Personalize.
Consistent and Clear Equipment Naming
- To ensure smooth operations and fast identification, assign clear, consistent names to your equipment both in Asset Management and physically on the equipment (or on a facility map). A well-defined naming system helps you quickly locate and track equipment without confusion. Choose any naming structure that fits your environment—such as restaurant-style section labels, location references or simple sequential numbering. The key is consistency: use the same naming convention everywhere it appears. This practice improves communication and reduces downtime.
Smarter Default Settings
- Adjust the default settings in your equipment to match the demographics of your member. The default user determines fitness test and caloric expenditure results and more so having a user that’s more accurate to your facility demographics is important. Find that adjustment in Machine Settings under “Setup Defaults.”
